ANAHEIM -- Standout seasons from Jered Weaver and Torii Hunter were honored on the field at Angel Stadium on Saturday evening.
Weaver received the Nick Adenhart Award for Pitcher of the Year and Hunter received the Owner's Trophy for MVP. Both players were chosen for the awards by their teammates.
Hunter entered Saturday hitting .282 with 21 home runs and 84 RBIs. Weaver, who's in contention for the Major League strikeout crown, is 13-11 with a 2.99 ERA and 220 strikeouts in 210 2/3 innings.
Manager Mike Scioscia and general manager Tony Reagins participated in the ceremony.
