The Angels announced their promotion schedule on Wednesday, one that will include the giveaway of a bobblehead doll in the likeness of their new $250 million first baseman. The other bobblehead is for center fielder Peter Bourjos and will be handed out May 16, in a game against the White Sox.
Below are some other highlights from the promotional schedule for home games.
April 22 (against the Orioles on Sunday afternoon): Angels FanFest and 5K
May 1 (Twins, Tuesday night): Rally Monkey beanie
May 3 (Blue Jays, Thursday night): Angels wall calendar
June 2 (Rangers, Saturday night): Angels cowboy hat
June 5 (Mariners, Tuesday night): Angels collapsible cooler
June 6 (Mariners, Wednesday night): Angels Hula Girl
July 7 (Orioles, Saturday night): Pujols jersey (for kids ages 2-14)
July 8 (Orioles, Sunday afternoon): Photo day for season-ticket holders
Aug. 14 (Indians, Tuesday night): 10th anniversary World Series ring figurine
Aug. 18 (Rays, Saturday night): C.J. Wilson backpack (kids ages 2-14)
Sept. 23 (White Sox, Sunday -- time TBD): Fan Appreciation Day and a team-photo giveaway
The Angels will also continue to have a fireworks show after every Friday home game and will bring back Family Sunday, which offers discounted tickets and activities for kids. Children ages 5 to 12 will be allowed to run around the bases after Sunday home games from June 24 to Aug. 19.
The club also announced it has released additional Club Level Season Seats for 2012, which can be reserved online.
