Angels and FOX Sports West announce 2012 schedule


Anaheim, CA – As the destination for Los Angeles Angels Baseball, Fox Sports West will deliver approximately 150 regional telecasts during the 2012 season, as announced today by the Angels and FS West. Regular season coverage begins on Opening Day, April 6 at 6PM vs Kansas City with a special one-hour “Angels Live” pre-game show.

Victor Rojas returns to the Angels broadcasting team for his third season, and will call play-by-play, along with Mark Gubicza, entering his fifth campaign providing color commentary.

“Angels Live” coverage returns to every home and road telecast this season on FS West. The half-hour pre-game and full post-game shows provide expert analysis, exclusive interviews and unmatched access to the team from Angel Stadium and on the road. 

Complementing live game telecasts this season, FS West will debut original programming content throughout the year. To preview the season ahead, the “Angels Live: Season Preview Special” will debut Wednesday, March 28 at 9:30PM on FS West. Additionally, “In My Own Words: Albert Pujols” and “In My Own Words: Mike Scioscia” will take center stage respectively on Tuesday, April 3 at 10:30PM and Wednesday, May 2 at 10:30PM on FS West. And returning for its third season, “Angels Weekly” delivers exclusive content around the Angels organization, including player interviews, features, behind the scenes access and more. The half-hour program debuts Friday, April 6 at 10:30PM and will air every Friday night during the regular season immediately following “Angels Live” post-game coverage.
