ANAHEIM -- The Angels have agreed to terms on a Minor League contract with right-handed reliever Fernando Cabrera, who will be invited to Spring Training.

Cabrera, 31, has pitched seven years in the big leagues and spent the 2012 season with the Mets' Triple-A affiliate, posting a 4.10 ERA, a 1.54 WHIP (walks plus hits per inning pitched) and 22 saves in 68 innings.

While pitching for the Indians, Orioles and Red Sox from 2004-10, Cabrera posted a 5.24 ERA with a 1.53 WHIP and a 1.97 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 132 relief appearances.
