ANAHEIM -- The Angels-Twins game at Target Field that was postponed on April 17 will be made up Monday, Sept. 9, at 4:10 p.m. PT.
Both teams are off that day. The Angels will be coming off a seven-game homestand in Southern California and start a three-game series in Toronto the following Tuesday. For the Twins, Sept. 9 comes during what is now a 10-game homestand.
Broadcast information for the makeup game will be announced at a later date.
The April 17 contest was originally postponed due to inclement weather. Both teams showed up to Target Field for their normal pregame, hoping to at least get five innings in, but sleet came down while the Angels were taking batting practice, forcing them off the field so the tarp could come on. Fifteen minutes before first pitch, the game was called.
