Gyorko hit his first home run of the spring in the fifth inning.

San Diego pitcher Blaine Boyer, a roster hopeful, tossed a scoreless inning and has not allowed a run so far in six outings covering seven innings.
Up next for the Angels: Jered Weaver will make his fourth spring start when the Angels travel to Salt River Fields at Talking Stick to face the Rockies on Saturday. Weaver struggled Monday against the Indians, giving up three runs on five hits and two walks in 4 1/3 innings. But he ended his outing by striking out three of the last five batters he faced and came out of it feeling healthy. Saturday's game starts at 1:10 p.m. PT and can be seen on MLB.TV.
