Morin played three times at Kauffman Stadium in high school as part of an annual rivalry game. He received the opportunity to pitch in the game his senior year.
The righty also participated in the pre-Draft workout that led to the Royals selecting him in the 40th round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft. But Morin went to the University of North Carolina and the Angels took him in the 13th round of the 2012 Draft.
Morin estimated that 100 friends and family were in attendance for Friday's game.
